France will impose a mandatory isolation for travelers arriving from Great Britain, where the Indian version of the Coronavirus is circulated, government spokesman Gabriel Attal announced today.
The date for the application of this measure will be set in the coming hours”, the Attal stressed at the conclusion of the Council of Ministers.
“Germani announced several days ago the additional measures for those coming from Great Britain and France will take similar steps”, Attal underlined, referring to two weeks of unintelligible quarantine imposed by Berlin since Sunday, the ATS reports.
So far, 16 countries have been subject to mandatory quarantine in France, including Brazil, India, Argentina and Turkey.
For these territories, police can suddenly control the presence of travelers in their quarantine country and impose a fine of between 10,000 and 1,500 euros in case of their absence.
Travelers should also present a negative test PCR at least 36 hours (in place of 72 hours), or a negative test PCR less than 72 hours accompanied by a negative antigen test less than 24 hours.
