Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has published “Transport and Telecommunications Statistics” for the first quarter of 2021, with data on Air Transport, Hekurudhor, Rrugor and Telecommunications.
In Kosovo's territory there are a total of 333km of railway rails for transport.
In the first quarter of 2021, the number of passengers who took the train as a travel vehicle was about 16 thousand, compared with the first quarter of 2020, the number of passengers has decreased to -21.34%.
The KSF's announcement reportedly that the transportation of train goods in the first three months of 2021 was around 187 thousand tonnes, where compared to the one in 2020 is an increase of 85%.
Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2021, there were 1,317 flights, where there is a drop in -14.14% in the same quarter of last year.
The number of travelers who used the plane as a transport vehicle was about 330, where, in relation to the same quarter of last year, there is a drop to -23.44%.
