“There is no place in Europe like Kosovo having so many parties, this must be changed”

So says economics professor Muhamet Mustafa, regarding holidays marking Kosovo.

“20 percent or more of your working time is going on vacation. This affects the decline in furniture in carrying out tasks, the continuation of activities. Long breaks are a negative factor in intensity and productivity. The time has come for this issue to be looked at in a critical manner”, Mustafa has said, Kosovo Clan reports.

There is no European state that has so many parties. There are some absurd things that if the party falls on Sunday we push it on Monday to rest. Albania has removed this way. It needs to rationalize the length of the holidays and if the holiday day is on weekends it doesn't need to be postponed on Monday. There are various parties that are in state law for parties”.

He has said that to change this practice, the law must be changed.

“is one of the laws that should be passed with 2/3 of minorities to change. We're the only country that's in the process of association and we celebrate May 9th, Europe Day. These must be considered critically”.
