The embassy through a Twitter post has written that yesterday's seizure is a big victory for rule of law.
“Fighting organised crime and drug trafficking requires international determination and co-operation. Well done to Kosovo authorities for yesterday's drug seizure in Lipjan ʹ success through global partnerships between Kosovo, Italy, Albania, & DEA. The big victory for rule of law”, said in post.
Four hundred pounds of cocaine were caught in a meat container from Brazil. Meanwhile, cocaine was put in a few cardboard packets, while the ambalage was suspected to be similar to the meat package to be trucked.
In this case, State Chief Prosecutor Aleksander Lumezi at a news conference revealed that the value of confiscated cocaine amounts to about 20m euros.
