Yesterday, Mitrovica Mayor Agim Bahtiri has announced that he has dismissed Education Directorate Director Ismet Ferizi from office, because he is at an official meeting in the Ministry of Education with Minister Arberie Nagavci, said: “While I am director, no one with the headscarves will be employed in education”.
Today, however, Skender Avdiu has been appointed to this position.
Avdiu is considered a connoisseur and education expert, for which the Ministry of Education is assigned as the Kurikules school coach in Kosovo.
He has been a director of the Education Directorate before.
