The Dutch government against visa liberalisation: Kosovo mired in corruption

The Dutch government has found that Kosovo is deeply involved in corruption, and as a result they say they oppose visa liberalisation. According to the MPJ of this state, Kosovo suffers from a high level of corruption and organised crime. The same have said that there is not enough support [...] on the Council.
The same have said there is not sufficient support for Kosovo to liberalise visas, writes Schengenvisinfo.com.
The ministry also stressed that “visa liberalisation is a technical process, which is guided by standards, in which a country must meet all preconditions before the Council decides to lift its” visas.
The Netherlands takes this stand for visa liberalisation for years, thus becoming one of the skeptical countries.
