(5 years ago)The Dutch government has found that Kosovo is deeply involved in corruption, and as a result they say they oppose visa liberalisation. According to the MPJ of this state, Kosovo suffers from a high level of corruption and organised crime. The same have said that there is not enough support [...] on the Council.
The same have said there is not sufficient support for Kosovo to liberalise visas, writes Schengenvisinfo.com.
The ministry also stressed that “visa liberalisation is a technical process, which is guided by standards, in which a country must meet all preconditions before the Council decides to lift its” visas.
The Netherlands takes this stand for visa liberalisation for years, thus becoming one of the skeptical countries.
Visa liberalisation still does not support France and Emmanuel Macron, saying conditions have yet to be met. /Periscope
