Durres prepares for summer season, reportedly restrictions on movement will be lifted

Limitation of the movement as protection from COVID-19 will be lifted during the tourist season, while prices this year in Durres will be average and affordable for tourists.

From here it has been called for Kosovo and Albania to have each other's destination as far as tourist seasons are concerned, until they said Albania has also faced the earthquake, reports EO.

Muhamed Kurmemi from the “Stockholm Hotel” said that they have already started preparing the tourist season, adding that journalists convey positive to Kosovo citizens so they can spend their holidays in Albania.

“Durser and we have started preparations for the tourist season, despite not having time in our favor, and to convey positiveness to the citizens of Kosovo and expect us in Durres”.

Azem Buyip from “Trip to Albania”, said they aim to present Albanian countries to foreign tourists.

We will try to promote coastal and mountainous tourism. We're in the third tour of the organisation tomorrow we'll continue in Vlora, then in Saranda, Ksamil and Drhermi. We've taken over to promote once and once again and we're on a military movement and the goal is to introduce ourselves to foreigners or foreign tourists who have to visit our country”.

Aryan Cera from the Durres County Council said that in addition to the pandemic, they have faced the earthquake. He said that restrictions on citizens' movement would be lifted in the season.

We've had a difficult season since we've had the earthquake and then the pandemic, but we're counting on Kosovo tourists and they've always been on us. The time limit will be removed since it has been 10:18x1>

On the other hand, Skender Thaci, deputy chairman of Kosovo's Oda Hoteliers and Tourism, has asked Albanians to have Kosovo as their destination for the mountain tourist season.

“I hope in a co-operation in the interest of two partials, you as you said in Durres, but also in Rugova, we will try to combine things and I wish Albania will have the right destination in Kosovo”.

“We are the greatest support any of us can make and I wish this year will be more developed. Over 80% of hotel workers in Durres have been vaccinated. In 2020/2021 a review of prices has been made until we've received some of these affordable prices and we have very competitive fees and we're on economic fees and average and non-high prices”.
