According to a research by the International Organisation headquartered in Geneva “Global Initiative”, cocaine entering Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia or Bulgaria goes south towards Greece. The cost of one kilogram of cocaine in Strumica is 45 thousand to 50,000 euros.
And cocaine that enters Albania usually comes through the port of Durres and 90 per cent clean during the surrender costs between 25 thousand euros and 30,000 euros. From Durres, drugs are usually transported towards Podgorica and then to northern Macedonia.
A little more expensive cocaine is sold in Croatia. Its price, usually introduced by the port of Bari in Montenegro, ranges from 35 thousand to 38 thousand euros.
As long as according to the research of “Global Initiative” the drugs that enter Presevo from North Mitrovica via the Cabak cost between 400,000 and 50,000 euros.
Safet Blakaj from the Centre for Counseling and Treatment of Poverty “Labyrinth”, states that the number of cocaine users has increased greatly in Kosovo.
