The British Ministry of Justice and Embassy in Pristina have signed a memorandum of understanding today for continuing to provide support to this ministry through the commitment of local legal experts.
According to a media report, legal experts will continue to support the Ministry of Justice in finalising functional revisions, in drafting legislation, as well as in advancing other British Embassy priorities.
“Deputy Justice Ministry Secretary-General Ardian Bajraktari said he is convinced that the commitment of experts serving in this ministry will continue to be as satisfactory as it has been so far. While the head of the International Law and Security Rule at the British Embassy, Jennifer Blake, said it would enable Britain to continue to provide support through legal experts for the Kosovo justice system and to help the government achieve its priorities in the rule of law”, the report said.
