Close to 80,000 active cases with COVID-19 in Kosovo

The infection of the Corona virus has killed two thousand 187 citizens.
From Kosovo's National Public Health Institute ( The IKPK, currently in the country, is 7 thousand and 983 active cases with COVID-19.
“over the last 24 hours, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKSCK and private labs with RT- PCR, as well as public and private labs with the RRA method, have tested a total of 2,052 samples taken by SSCKUK and the tracking of ground-related contacts, out of which 101 positive cases result. Four cases of SARS deaths reported within 24 hours CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from municipalities: Gjilan 1 case (82), Prizren 1 case (63 years old), Suhareka 1 case (59 years), Vushtrri 1 case (78). The total number of positive cases is 105,636 cases out of 541,762 suspected persons in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 2,187 cases of death. During the last 24 hours, 421 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 95.466 cases, while the number of active cases is 7,983”, reportedly in the latest IKAK report.
The positive cases are from the municipalities: Pristina 33 cases, Gjilan 9 cases, Prizren 9 cases, Gjakova 8 cases, Ferizaj 6 cases, Mitrovica 6 cases, Fushe-Kosovo 5 cases, Obilic 5 cases, Pec 5 cases, Decani 4 cases, Podujevo 4 cases, Lipjan 3 cases, Rahovec 2 cases, and, in one case, Kacanik and Vushtrri municipalities.
