Five hundred thousand citizens in Albania, Rama: We realized our target 29 days before the deadline

Prime Minister Edi Rama through a Facebook post has indicated that 29 days before the deadline made public, 500 thousand citizens have already been vaccinated and that they will continue towards the next target of one million.

“commit. *29 days before the public deadline, we realized the target of 1/2 million vaccines. We continue without stopping to target 1 million now”, writes Rama.

Albania has secured the first 500,000 doses of vaccine from the direct agreement with Pfizer company, as well as contracting with COVAX, where it has provided 1,114,000 doses of vaccines, for which it has prepaid $3.9m.
