Tomorrow, the head of state must disperse Parliament and appoint a temporary executive to lead the country to early elections.
This is my duty and right under the Constitution. The election date is 11 July. We cannot distribute the National Assembly before May 11th”, Radev stressed.
On May 5th, the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) replanned the mandate for forming a government after regular parliamentary elections on April 4th.
It was the third failed attempt to form a government following the outgoing prime minister's Gerb as well, Boyko Borisov, who won elections but remained isolated in parliament because it was impossible to have a majority.
