Borell Sofra: Wuchiqi dinner Kurt in Brussels

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti will stay in Brussels today. Going to Brussels, Kurti has said today's meeting is not dialogue with Serbia, but only the traditional dinner of Western Balkan leaders, which is handled by the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, which is also the deputy [...]

So Kurt declared himself to MPs Monday, where he presented the governing programme.

The “Darka tomorrow evening in Brussels is not dialogue with Serbia, but it is the traditional dinner of the leaders of the Western Balkans -- six Western Balkan countries -- conducted by the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, which is also the vice president of the European Commission, Borrell. Not visa liberalisation is a political issue, it is not a technical issue since the criteria are technical and they have already been met, image is not technical criteria but has become a political obstacle. We have met the criteria, but the citizens of the Republic don't care how much we've met the criteria, but whether the visas are being removed or not. That's why there's this duplication, the double is not in our programme, it's in the controversial situation of the European Union, which we need to address”, Kurti said.

We remember that late April, Prime Minister Kurti has been on a two-day visit to Brussels, where he has held meetings with the EU's top leaders.

European Union for Foreign Policy and Security High Representative Josep Borrell declared on April 26th that dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia will be held on 11 May, but that Kurti before the media in Brussels had been declared not to participate in this meeting.
