American, Israeli and Palestinian officials have not published the full agenda of the White House top diplomat. The State Department announced this visit Thursday, saying Blinken will discuss recovery efforts and work together for better future for the Israelis and Palestinians.
According to a source close to this visit, Blinken will also visit Egypt and Jordan, Reuters writes, broadcast the Express newspaper.
Otherwise, Egypt has brokered for achieving the ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian militants and has sent missions to oversee the agreement's compliance.
The ceasefire agreement was reached several hours after US President Joe Biden's call for Israel to ease tensions and after the great pressure of other world powers, including Russia, China and France, to disrupt the fighting.
