The number of newly infected is dropping in many places, so we can announce this relief of measures, in parallel with our steps towards opening the country,” he said.
To avoid quarantine, visitors must have a vaccination certificate, a negative test of coronary, or a certificate recovered from infection.
Relief of the measures refers to arrivals from Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, the DPA reports.
People planning to visit Austria still need to be electronically recorded before they arrive, adds German news agency.
