Her mother, Anna Dulich, has confirmed to BBC Russo that 23-year-old is now in a prison in Minsk. The charges against her are still unclear.
The last word she managed to write into her account in Whatsapp was “Mother”, Dulich said from her home in Lida, Lithuania.
“She couldn't write anything else, we didn't have any contact after”, the mother continued.
She indicated that her daughter is now at the Okrestina Prevention Centre and that they have received a lawyer for the case.
Dulich said her daughter had been “on vacation” with Protasevich and was a common “studente”.
Journalist Roman Protasevich today was traveling by plane with his girlfriend to Vilnius, where he was later kidnapped by Belarus for the false alarm of the bomb.
The death penalty awaits me here,” reportedly told Roman Protasevich when he was asked by other passengers why he was panicking and trembling when he realized that the plane was landing in Minsk and not in Vilnius as before.
