Former head parliamentman and former founder of KLA, Kadri Wessel has been released by Special Court for an emergency visit to see his father, who is in Serious health conditions at the Mitrovica hospital.

Videos that circulated Yesterday in Kosovo media, images showed where Wessel was viewed under strict security, including EULEX Police.

The Special Court has not detailed how many days he will stay in Kosovo, but according to Ehat Miftaraj from the Kosovo Institute for Justice, the judge decides and limits what he is allowed to do during this visit to Kosovo.

In a proposal for Periscope, Miftaraj said that in case such as this one, Kadri Wessel is prohibited from any kind of pronouncement for the Special Court, political and witnessed meetings.

“I ban proposals for the Special Court, political and approaching or meeting witnesses. Wessel is allowed family visits but in all public”, Miftaraj said.

According to him, each case is individual and only the judge decides on the case.

The information on Kadri Weselin's visit to Kosovo has also confirmed Special Chambers spokeswoman Angela Greep.

Greep today even told the media that Can't give more details about how long Wessel can stay in Kosovo.

For operational reasons and to respect Mr. Wessel, we cannot provide any additional information on the custody visit”, said Greep, writes Periscopi.

We remember that early in November last year, four former KLA political and military leaders -- former President Hashim Thaci, former commanders Kadri Veselin and Jakup Krasniqi -- were arrested and sent to The Hague, as well as Rexhep Selimi./Periscopi/
