The session will begin under the direction of the head of the Gramoz Ruci Assembly, and several bills returned by President Ilir Meta will be considered.
On the agenda signed by Ruci is not anticipated the issue of Meta's dismissal, but this does not exclude him from entering the agenda from the plenary hearing.
This is the second time the majority will launch procedures for Ilir Meta's dismissal from the presidential post. The first time, it all started because of the collapse of the June 30th 2019 local elections. Today, this procedure has started after the war that Meta opened to the US and Ambassador Yuri Kim, as well as his release completely from the role of head of state and his involvement in the campaign in violation of the Constitution, which Meta claims to be defending with blood and dignity, writes TopChannel.
We remember that the mandate of current deputies in Albania's Parliament expires in September, at which time the new lawmakers' oath is expected to take place.
