So far the number of vaccinated citizens has reached 56 thousand.
To continue with this process, Kosovo's government, even though it has been constantly criticised for small numbers of vaccinated ones, has indicated that it is expected this week to accept another infection container.
The prime minister's office has declared that 3510 doses of the vaccine will be accepted this week.
We plan and expect that by the end of the month we will have an additional 139 thousand vaccines in total, so that the process of unabated vaccines can be maintained and our intention for vaccination of citizens” is met, the government's spokesman, Kryeziu, has declared.
Over 3,500 doses of Pfizer vaccine against coronavirus have come to Kosovo earlier this month as a donation of the European Union.
Meanwhile, today the 500 workers who were vaccinated in Kukes with March 20th and 21st are expected to appear in the “1 October hall” to receive the second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine.
