Kurti writes:
Today, on International Day of Nurses, there have been 38,400 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19. Along with Minister Vitita, Ambassador Abbott, Ambassador Szunyog, Ambassador Boutel, Ambassador Rohde, United Nations Development Coordinator in Kosovo, U.S. Director U. NICEF, Murat Sahin, and the director of USAID, Lisa Magno, accepted the new contract with vaccines under the COVAX Alliance.
Nurses, since March of last year, have been on the front line facing the COVID-19 pandemic. They have not ceased, and at least have taken care of themselves, for they have consistently cared for our health. Even now, in the vaccine phase, nurses are playing a key role. Their daily dedication obliges us as governments to engage fully in providing doses so that we can fulfill our goal of obtaining 60% of the population within the year. So, hopefully we'll ease the work of some of our nurses.
