AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has said he has stayed in Pec today, as he calls “in my heart city.

Haradinaj through a Facebook post has said that after consultations with Peja branch chairman Arben Grabovci, who is facing some personal nature challenges these days, he has accepted his resignation from his candidacy for mayor and from the office of branch chairman.

Until the branch framework, one of the vice-presidents will exercise the office, according to the Alliance's statute. ”

“Thank Mr. Arber Grabovcin, for his vital commitment to the Alliance and highly esteem his readiness to continue his post as AAK assemblyist in the Municipal Assembly of”, Haradinaj wrote on Facebook.

Also, Grabovci himself has confirmed his resignation.

Because of some personal issues and in consultation with the AAK chairman, Mr. Ramush Haradinaj, from today, withdraws from the post of head of the branch and candidate for head of the Peja municipality. My commitments will continue within the AAK assisted group in the Municipal District of Pec. And I'll be part of the Alliance!”, wrote Grabovci on his account in “Facebook”
