Right 40 years ago he was shot with two Pope bullets: That's the mystery to the assassination.

A scene that occurred in the eyes of photographers and for a moment made the world's lap, was that when Pope John Paul II was shot in his car in St. Peter's Square in front of the general audience. Someone in the crowd fired two bullets, and the pope was transported to the hospital almost dead. It was [...]

The man who shot him was Ali Agca. But who were the errands? What was the purpose of seeing the Pope under gun shots? Forty years later, the attack on Carol Wojtyla remains completely unresolved.

Amid great suffering, the pope survived that attack and said: “A hand flashed, another hand diverted the bullet”. Poliknikian doctors Gemelly, where he was transported, did not believe Pope John Paul II could escape that attack, but after 5 and a half hours in the operation, which resulted in success, the pope was safe.

Immediately after the attack on St. Peter's Square, Mehmet Ali Agca, the young Turkish man who shot Pope, was arrested, and the weapon he used was seized. There are still questions about who's behind the attack. It seems hard to have Bulgaria-based “Wyster Gry”, whose Turkish terrorist organisation is Ali Agca and Bulgaria-based one, able to organise itself. On December 27, 1983, Pope Wojtyla, in the Roman prison in Rebibba, visited author Agca and forgave him. The attacker, over various years and judgments, has given his numerous, often contradictory and impossible versions to confuse public opinion as much as possible. The investigations followed the most different directions, but 40 years after this attack still do not have real security. Wojtyla was certainly the unpleasant one in Eastern Europe, closely related to the Soviet Union. But the evidence in this regard has never been found.

That day remains a bloody white shirt pierced by bullet holes. It is at the chapel of the Institute of the Bees of Charity, Bocea, a suburb of Rome, preserved in a sanctuary. The relic survived because of the speed of a nurse in the operating room and saw her jump into a corner. /A2 CNN
