In recent weeks Kosovo has seen a decline in the number of victims and cases of those infected with COVID-19.
Kosovo National Institute of Public Health ( IKPK, has announced that there are currently 2,000 and 380 active cases in the country with COVID-19.
As of March 13th last year (2020), when the first two positive cases were presented, there are 107 thousand 405 citizens who have been infected with COVID-19.
Because of the Corona virus infection, March 22, 2020, there were 2 thousand 243 people dead.
“over the last 24 hours, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKSCK and private labs with RT- PCR, as well as private and public labs with the RRA method, have tested a total of 2,120 samples taken by the SSCKUK and tracking contact cases on the ground, resulting in 23 positive cases. In 24 hours no cases of SARS deaths were reported CoV-2 positive. The total number of positive cases is 107,405 cases out of 609,350 suspected persons in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 2,243 cases of death. During the last 24 hours, 130 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 102.782 cases, while the number of active cases is 2,380<18x1>, said the latest IKAK report.
