These doses of the vaccine are within the account of 95 thousand doses, which are donations from the EU to Kosovo.
Last week Kosovo has received 4 thousand and 680 doses of Pfizer vaccines, with which health workers and chronically ill people have been vaccinated.
Kosovo has begun vaculation in late March with 24 thousand doses of AstraZeneca vaccine, which it received through the COVAX programme.
On the other hand, the Health Ministry has announced it will accept another 38 400 doses of the vaccine within the COVAX alliance. These vaccines will arrive on Wednesday morning.
That's how the MSH announced through a media communiqué.
So far, we're counting on 24 000 doses we took weeks ago, totaling 62400 doses. With the acceptance of these vaccine doses against COVID-19, will follow with the vaccination of the pre-priced categories under the State Inoculation Plan COVID-19”, the Health Ministry reports.
