Bekim Jashar, son of hero Hamez Jashar, wants to lead Skenderaja again for a warrant. Sami Lushtaku, who is not well with Yashhar, says he will be seen in the election as a winner.
The mayor of Skyeraj municipality, Bekim Jashari, has confirmed that he will compete for another term for mayor of this municipality. Yasar has stressed that his choice is in the hands of citizens, as he aims at winning the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) raid.
And from this political subject, Yasar's possible counterCandidate could be the head of the PDK branch in Skenderaj, Sami Lushtaku.
He did not extend too much explanation for Jashar's running, he told Express, that everyone has the right to run for chairman.
As for the election winner in this municipality, he said he would be seen in elections expected to be held in October of this year.
“It's the right of each running man. Who wins the elections will certainly see this during the elections, and during the” vote, he has declared.
Lushtaku has further said that the PDK still has no decision as to who will be the candidate for this municipality from this party.
I don't know if I will. I believe that the Democratic Party of Kosovo and its leadership will make the decision, and that decision I believe will begin in May. Then we will also see candidates in the town hall”, he said.
We remember that in the 2017 election, then the head of the Skywright municipality, Sami Lushtaku, had withdrawn from the race to give Bekim Jashar the opportunity to be elected mayor.
The PDK branch in charge of Lushtaku had decided not to run anyone and give support to the nation's hero Hamez Yashari's son.
Lushtaku said he would not run for chairman, until he added that it would be an honor for the town of Skywright to be led by a member of the Yasar family.
During those four years, however, their relationships were not so good.
It was Bekim Jashari, who during 2020 had issued serious charges against Sami Lushtak, saying he was far from the hot spots of war, bought the villa in 1998 and that thanks to the Jashar family's support has become KLA commander. These statements were answered by Lushtak.
Lushtaku had declared that he was both before the war and during the Kosovo war, and that citizens who have seen them every day well know that.
According to Lushtak, Bekim Jashar is misusing the name of the Jashar family with such statements and making a big mistake.
I have statements like other Bekim statements. I think Bekim has to deal with the fact that the mayor has completely failed and now to get a little more interesting about me. I was both before the war and during the war in Kosovo, and this is best known to my fellow citizens and citizens who have seen us every day.
