She has said she does not understand this move by Kosovo's prime minister, while remembering that in Kosovo, Serbia and Aleksandar Vuciq complain of interference.
I can't understand what all this is. On the one hand, all in Kosovo complain of intervention by Serbia or by President Aleksandar Vuciq himself, but on the other hand, Kosovo's prime minister also votes in a neighbouring state. Unacceptable. At least not for me”
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti voted in today's elections in Albania shortly after the polls opened, while inviting Albania's citizens to do the same.
The election day is a day of democracy. I invite all citizens of Albania to respect their homeland today by voting and making the best choice. The day is beautiful, Sunday, sunny, so it will be until evening. I wish days of beauty and prosperity for Albania and every man who, like me, has the passport of the Republic of Albania”, declared Kurti after the vote.
Kurti's move has prompted many reactions from Kosovo. Kosovo Democratic Party of Kosovo leader Enver Hoxhaj said the prime minister is more interested in his party officials in Albania than in the fate of Kosovo citizens.
Eugen Cakoli from the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI) has also deemed the fact that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has participated in Albania's parliamentary general elections.
