“Using unfair sanctions is growing into something more dangerous: a pute attempt in Belarus,” said Putin.
He backed Belarusn President Aleksandar Lukachenko, who is facing a massive opposition, writes BBC, translates Periscopi.
On 17 April, Belarusian authorities announced that they had discovered a plan to assist President Lukashenko, a US-backed plan.
President Putin has said Russia wanted good relations with all states, but that there was constant effort by Western powers to anger his country.
