“We are deeply grateful, Minister. I hope these thanks from the people of Kosovo are forwarded to the Chancellor and German president. ”
The first case and the first fundamental priority of our institutions is management of pandemic. ”
I thanked the minister for helping Germany through the COVAX initiative and the EU as well. So far, Kosovo has received 24 thousand vaccines and another 95 thousand are expected, but that is still a very small percentage, and I expressed interest in continuing co-operation with Germany in the future in whatever kind of instrument Germany sees reasonable and necessary because vaccines will be necessary so that we can manage this pandemic. ”
The second question that I handled visa liberalisation -- a process in which Kosovo has met the criteria and thanks to the minister for the support Germany's institutions have given in this direction. We expect EU member states to fulfill their promise that is still being held unjustly isolated. ”
The third question we discussed was dialogue with Serbia. In this time of pandemic, where even the economy has been seriously damaged, citizens expect us to take care of the pandemic. Dialgou with Serbia is a process where Kosovo has been engaged since the beginning and our republic has offered the hand of co-operation, but unfortunately Serbia has still not apologised for crimes committed in Kosovo and still has no justice for thousands of Kosovo victims. ”
“As Kosovo institutions I informed the minister that we will continue to raise voices and do our utmost to have justice for all these victims. ” “For us, this process needs a reset, so it is not just a continuation. Our attentive institutions will review each agreement has been reached and each document examined so far. We will conduct a dialogue based on clear principles where the Republic of Kosovo will in no way enter any dangerous adventures, which have to do with changes in borders, logically, which belongs to the last century, whether with the regulation of the constitutional change of Kosovo, which will be in place.
