Another victory for Serbia: What should you know about Europe's Nostra Report on the Decani Monastery?

The “7 most endangered countries” programme exists from 2013 and aims to boost the conscience of the fragility conditions of these countries, in hopes that this will spur concrete actions.

So far, the League of Historians of Kosovo é branch Decani, and Prime Minister Kurti with president Osmani have contested the report making the Decani Monastery a dangerous place of cultural heritage and indirectly accusing Kosovo citizens and their institutions of doing so.
But who is Europe Nostra?
Europe Nostra [“Our Europe” from Italian is a comprehensive European Federation for Cultural Heritage, representing civic organisations working to preserve Europe's cultural and natural heritage.
This organisation has consultative status with U NESCO serves as the voice of relief troops, particularly of the European Union and the Council of Europe.

Listing the Decani Monastery as one of the 7 most endangered cultural heritage sites undoubtedly represents a recent victory of Serbian diplomacy over Kosovo.
What does this Decani Monastery organization say?
“Daton from the 17th century and is also part of the U NESTO. An important religious centre in the Balkans, the site has made it the victim of legal and institutional issues, due to the conflict between Serbia and Kosovo. ”
Construction of the monastery had begun during the reign of Stefan Dechanski in 1327. The main architect of the monastery had been Vito from Kotor.

According to Branislav Panteliqi, the monastery features the latest phase of Western architecture, Gothic, Byzantine-Romanian and contains many Byzantine drawings and many romance sculptures.
Foreign embassies in Kosovo had consistently reacted after any developments involving the monastery. Finally, Ambassador Philip Kosnett has accused all Kosovo politicians of closing their eyes on institutional oppression that was done to the will of local Serbs for the local road crossing the monastery. /Periscope
