Totaj: Prosecutor to also investigate Haskuka after scandal with tender 1.4m euros

Totaj has also asked the prosecution to investigate Prizren Mayor Mytaher Haskuka after the scandal with the Prizren municipality's 1.4m-euro tender under suspicion of applying to false documents, where several people were arrested after publishing a report by the non-governmental organisation “AVONET”

According to Totaj, the “Myta slogan will kill corruption” has become the slogan “Myta has been killed in corruption”.

This big scandal should not go away without political responsibility. We are convinced that in this corrupting scandal, both Haskuka and its close relatives are involved, so we appeal to the state bodies to expand the track of investigations, including Haskuka Chairman Osman Krasniqi, former director Levent Kasemi and chief prosecutor.”, he said.

Totaj has indicated that the corrupt power led by Mytaher Haskuka and motivated by Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje Movement is aiming to intimidate the opposition, impeach the opposition, to shut up the door and to avoid its political activity in the service and interest of Prizren citizens, driving opposition parties away from their headquarters in order to silence the abuses of corrupt relatives in Prizren's municipality.

Dear journalists welcome to this conference in Prizren,

Ladies and gentlemen,

This conference is the first time we've organized him outside the fences and the space of our party headquarters behind us.

Unfairly and motivated by the Vetevendosje Movement Albin Kurti in Pristina ão municipality of Prizren led by Mytaher Haskuka began the opposition persecution in Prizren by turning all political parties away from their headquarters, which have exploited the conformities in force.

This corrupt Haskuka + Vetevendosje power is aiming to intimidate the opposition, Implore it, shut it down, and to avoid its political activity in the ministry and the interest of citizens of our municipality.

This failed and caught by a handful of people has turned into the disaster of our city. He, instead of working for the good of the citizens, freed many municipal property from the usurpors, removed directors by accusation, chose persecution against the opposition.

For for months he had but one purpose: that we might be silent, and not speak of his abuses. So threatening us with the offices he intended to buy our silence.

However, I want to assure the citizens of Prizren, all supporters and PDK voters that we don't fear them, that we can't remain silent in the face of these abuses and everyday corrupts, and that we will continue to make public every day.

Dear citizens,

Corruption, mismanagement, misuse and failures have already exceeded Prizren's city size, and today they are talked about everywhere in every family, house, neighbourhood, village and city of Kosovo.

Prizren Mayor Mytaher Haskuka and Vetevendosje Movement are champions of corruption and failure at the level of Kosovo.

Misuse of public money; providing free tenders and associated with allegations of corruption; directors and officials with the indictment are unfortunately the worst model that has happened to our beloved municipality.

This corruption-ridden power is the worst form of self-government offered to Prizren citizens in three years. I fear that citizens in all of Kosovo will soon experience it.

In just this week, Prizren municipality education director was filed with the indictment as several people were arrested for a municipality tender worth 1.4m euros under suspicion of applying to false documents.

It was the non-governmental organisation “AVONET” which days earlier published a report about how Prizren's municipality had awarded a tender worth 1 million and 394 thousand euros and 90 cents to an economic operator that applied with fake documents.

Several days after this indictment and due to widespread media reporting, Prizren's Prosecution was put in motion, announcing he has detained and arrested the owners of two companies, while the list of allegations is even greater.

I as the head and branch of the PDK in Prizren thank all the media, organisation and state prosecutor who acted and prevented the abuse of citizen taxes.

But this big scandal should not go away without political responsibility. We are convinced that in this corrupting scandal, both Haskuka and its close relatives are involved, so we appeal to the state bodies to expand the track of investigations, including Haskuka Chairman Osman Krasniqi, former director Levent Kasemi and chief prosecutor.

I also take the opportunity to invite all the good people of this city, honest municipal officials and journalists not to submit to the corrupt powers of Vetendos and its pingale, Mytaher Haskuka. But denouncing him every day.

We like the PDK will not be silent and stop, even though we were out on the streets yesterday.

Because we're convinced that citizens will soon punish Mytaher Haskuka and vote him out of his office in the fall of this year.
