Gucati and Haradinaj are continuing to be held in custody since last year, on charges of criminal acts of obstructing justice administration.

A few months after the arrest, specialised prosecutors had filed charges against them, which was confirmed on December 14, 2020.

According to the indictment, Gucati and Haradinaj, in April and September 2020, made accusations of witnesses co-operating with the Specialised Prosecutor's Office and others.

The prosecution charges them with obstructing official persons in carrying out official duties, fearing witnesses, revenge and violating the secret of the procedure.

On 25 September 2020, Gucati and Haradinaj were arrested as suspects by the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, with the support of EULEX and Kosovo police and transferred to the detention facility of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague.

With confirmation of the indictment, Gucati and Haradinaj have the status of indictees before Kosovo's Specialised Chambers.

The deputy chairman of the KLA's War Veterans Organisation (OVL), Nasim Haradinaj, has sent to the Court of Appeals the continuation of his detention by Specialised Chambers.

On December 24, 2020, the pre-procedure judge decided to continue detention of Haradinaj and denied his request for a hearing on the matter.

On January 5th, Haradinaj has appealed this ruling to the Court of Appeals, but the Court of Appeals panel near Specialised Chambers has rejected Nasim Haradinaj's appeal against the decision to keep him in custody.

Gucati and Haradinaj have pleaded innocent to the charges they charge.
