Urgent and political are praising the Government's decision to impose new anti-Covid measures, infected Ilir Tolaj.
Tolaj in an interview for Online Economics said the new government makes decisions on setting additional measures without a literal epidemiological and medical analysis.
According to him, these closures do not have any impact on the performance of the pandemic, and he even emphasises the election campaign has affected imbalance.
The masquerades, which in themselves include closing this type of guy we have now, are always for a single reason and they are to reduce the number because they will necessarily affect the decline of new cases and therefore with this to save the health system from numerous cases they can't afford. But the closures of this and the measures of this do not have any impact on long-term pandemic performance, the moment the measures are withdrawn and they are released when people's communication with normal life is necessarily going to be added again, Tolaj said.
“In terms of the moment of undertaking these measures I appreciated hastily and as a more political action than based on a literal epidemiological and medical analysis, as we, even days before taking measures, had a drop in the number of cases. It would be more reasonable if health authorities and political authorities had waited a few more days to see that this trend of the case or not went on, in case these measures had continued then they had to have a completely different form. We witnessed the election campaign derailed this balance of pandemic performance and then there were the extreme disregard for the coffees, especially in the late hours of the night”, he stressed.
Contaminated tolaj points out that in the event the country faces a new wave of the virus, hospital capacity could not afford it.
The current number of new and hospitalized cases is at the level that is affordable to the health system, but the problem would be whether we face a new wave or if this wave does not end and there will be an increase in cases. I appreciate that this system of health, however inadequate it may be, will be able to cope with this period of pandemic, but I appreciate that it has been able to do better”, he said.
He says that Kosovo has successfully surpassed the management of pandemic and that the credit belongs to citizens, but that this too is due to the new age of the population, reports EO.
“We're in the third wave of pandemic and what if this trend of new numbers falls, then we're somewhere in the third wave, which is good. We for several days have reduced the number of new cases, despite the number of deaths at times is greater and smaller, but deaths mostly cannot appreciate the performance of pandemic”, Tolaj said.
And if we think about it from the beginning to the present, I appreciate that Kosovo has been relatively easy to get through the pandemic, that we have a number of probably more likely cases that have been infected than those that are official, but that we have a relatively small number of cases that have ended well, and that's good for all of us”
The main “Merita belongs to the people of this country, which is very young, and therefore has coped with it much easier than other countries where population age is much older”, he said.
