EU spokesperson for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak has met with US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Euro-Asian Philip Reeker taskman.
Lajcak has made this known by a post in Titter, as the meeting in question comes only a day after the US representative said that there is not much time for dialogue to lose, the news.net writes.
I had a very useful meeting with Phil Reeker, Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Commander this morning. Always good to compare notes, to coordinate and agree between the US and the EU for future activities in the Western Balkans”, he wrote.
Lajcak's meeting with Reeker comes at a significant moment to disrupt the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia.
Kosovo's new prime minister, Albin Kurti, has underlined that dialogue is not the primary priority of his government, while this has also triggered reactions in different camps that are involved in the process.
