Tensions at the meeting between Erdogan and Greek minister: Keep Your Place

Our “meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, but during a conversation with our foreign minister, the issue took another turn. Of course, in the face of Dendia's behaviour and his stance, the foreign minister reminded him of the country belonging to”, the Turkish president said.
Erdogan added that Turkey considers the Greek minister's stance inappropriate.
The two countries are allies in NATO, but continue to clash over a range of issues, such as extending continental shelves to the eastern Mediterranean, airspace, energy resources, ethnically divided Cyprus and the status of several islands in the Aegean. Tensions peaked last summer when Turkey sent drilling ships to Mediterranean waters.
