Tahiri: Albin Kurti promised that within the year 60% of citizens will operate and not yet provide a vaccine

The chief of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, said they have invited the parliamentary debate on pandemic because the government led by Prime Minister Albin Kurti now and a month in office has not taken any step in the face of the deadly dangerous situation by codid-19. Tahiri said the current government has taken no step [...]
Tahiri said the current government has not taken any concrete steps to provide much needed vaccines to save the lives of citizens.
You promised within the year you'd vaccinate 60% of the population. That is approximately 1 million and 100,000 people. We're at the end of April, and no single vaccine you haven't secured yet. How did you approach this prime minister?
It is widely known that no one but the government can negotiate vaccines. Which manufacturer did you negotiate with for the Prime Minister vaccine? The producers are few. They know names. Which one? In addition to meeting your political ego by participating in elections in Albania, has any visit to any country that can help provide vaccines” entered your agenda, Tahiri said.
The head of PDK deputies said that in terms of anti-civil vaccines, the current government has left Kosovo comparable to Libya, Cameroon, Syria, Kyrgyzstan and Zambia.
Therefore, as you fail to provide vaccines, you are making Kosovo a failed state in protecting the lives of its citizens. This is unforgivable. Either act or leave a way. Because the citizens who believed you so much and voted you hard today are in danger for life. We know Stalin said that when you kill a man, you've killed a life. But one million lives are just statistics. We don't believe this is your mind. So you need to reflect urgently. Because cases of death have begun to become statistics”, Tahiri said.
He has also sought responsibility from Health Minister Arben Vitita, who, as he said, has taken no tangible steps to provide vaccines as he had acted in the Kurti government 1 with failing to provide tests.
He said Arben Vitita must show before citizens what really happened to the failure of the contract for Pfizer vaccines, while sharply criticising him for failing to support hospitals and health personnel.
