According to Gergur, changing measures every day at the time that the first coronary cases appeared, was a challenge for the police.
The police are very well covered in legal terms. We have health emergency management laws, but this situation has no chance of managing with police only because field work requires cooperation with all citizens. The evil of this has been because even police officers have been touched by coronarys. There have been a series of challenges”, he said.
He has said that as a society, there has been no proper preparation for coping with pandemics.
“Often, the opinion speaks of the part of the whiteman in front of him and forgets that the hardest part is cops. It's true doctors treated patients, but police have treated all levels of society”, he said.
