He has voiced confidence that political developments will expose the electoral demagogia of this government.

In this interview given the newspaper “The new age”, he has said that citizens who have not voted this government know what is behind its promises. “Mbi 22 thousand Kosovo citizens who have supported the Social Democrat Initiative and all voters of other opposition political forces, including those who have refused to vote, have well known what lies behind their promises, so we have the full conviction that developments will expose the electoral demagogia”, the Sheriff has declared.

He has criticised the government for new measures against Ovidius, showing what needs to be done for managing pandemic.

“To successfully fight against Ovid-19 government must implement a double strategy: to take measures in order to prevent the spread of this virus and to make all the diplomatic efforts needed to provide vaccines as the only way to reduce the risk Kosovo citizens face. Unfortunately, the total closure measures of gastronomy and various businesses will have only economic consequences, while placing the curfew at the previous hours cannot bring positive results”, the Sheriff has indicated. According to him, the opposition in this mandate will monitor the government's work and offer alternatives that would be better than government projects.

The Secretary General of the Social Democrat Initiative has also talked about the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process. According to him, in this process the government should be transparent. “for Kosovo and its future does not matter if Kurti's government lists dialogue as its first or tenth priority. For Kosovo and its citizens it is important that Kurti do what he has consistently demanded from his predecessors: build a transparent process and that Kosovo emerge victorious from the dialogue process”, the Sheriff has declared.
