Kosovo's government at its next meeting has made a decision to approve general and specific measures for control, prevention and fighting the COVIDDY 19 pandemic. Among the 52 measures is the government's measure 7, which imposes public institutions, as well as those of education “that all pregnant workers should be set free from their obligation to appear at work, enabling them to work at home”.
The SBASK, given that the Government's decision is in force since yesterday's day, (19 April 2021), while the Municipal Education Directors and other employers are not implementing the 7th point of the decision, so it requires the institutions responsible for the implementation of these government measures to engage and inspect with regard to the implementation of this measure in educational institutions and to impose institutions that pregnant workers be released immediately from the learning process, which is being developed with physical presence in educational institutions, how much more so when the education system is deemed by the most threatened and affected by Co individual taking measures of the Law that they do not implement these measures for non-proliferation measures.
The SBASK has also communicated with Minister Nagavci and appeals to schools and Education Directorates to co-operate closely and help Minister Nagavci find the acceptable solution so that he can start implementing measures 7 so that pregnant workers throughout the education system, from their clinics to the university, can be released from duty of presentation in the workplace and find adequate replacement for them from tomorrow.
