In a statement by the Ministry of Kingdom Defence, the three were sentenced to death by a specialised court after a fair trial.
Saudi State Press Agency said they were soldiers working at the Ministry of Defence. In the communique, he did not give them details of how they helped enemies of the kingdom.
The ministry mentioned the three soldiers -- Mohammed bin Ahmed, Shaher bin Issa and Hamoud bin Ibrahim - without identifying which <x0mic>” were accused of.
The ministry said the soldiers were executed at the South Army Command, based near the Yemen border, where Saudi Arabia is leading a six-year campaign against the rebel Houthi, who are linked to Iran.
