Russia's Ambassador Sergey Basdnikin said the agreement signed by the Russian Fund for direct investment and the Health Ministry will be respected.
Furthermore, it did not give a date when vaccines from Russia will come exactly, but stressed that 6,000 doses have already been ordered from Macedonia. The Russian ambassador underlined that Sputnik V vaccine is absolutely safe, efficiency is above 90%, while it is 100 per cent in preventing coronary complications.
The Agreement envisions the security of 200,000 vaccines from Sputnik V vaccine, which is for the immunization of 100,000 people. To this day, 60,000 doses have been ordered, 3,000 of each component. It's currently being worked on ordering additional amounts. The Russian side will fulfill all of its obligations from the agreement to provide vaccines ordered by your country”, Russian Ambassador Sergey Badniki has declared.
