Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko has declared that a constructive dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina with respect to UN Security Council Resolution 1244 has no alternative.
According to him, both sides should seek a solution for Kosovo without outside interference and the deployment of artificial deadlines and recipes, Klan Kosova broadcasts.
In an interview for “Jedinstvo”, Kharchenko says Russia shares Belgrade's assessment that the establishment of the Serbian Communist Association is a key element in ensuring the rights and security of the Serbian population in Kosovo.
He also says the “fact that Pristina ignores its obligations in Brussels raises serious concerns, while considering as he called “the rhetoric of “Greater Albania” very dangerous and undermines resolving the Kosovo issue”.
