The situation is tense in the eastern Ukrainian border regions after Russia has threatened military intervention to protect its citizens.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov is taught to have said that in the event of the conflict, Russia will not sit back. The army in Ukraine dismissed the accusations, for possible preparation of an attack against pro-Russian separatist regions in the east.
Retaking these “regions would inevitably lead to the death of a large number of civilians and the loss of lives of soldiers” and is for this unacceptable, said army head Ruslan Chomtschak in Kiev.
For days, both sides blame each other for the new escalation of the situation in the seven-year conflict. Russia and Ukraine sent troops to conflict regions.
