On Wednesday (21.04.2021) it was held the eighth meeting of the Government, which had 12 points of the agenda.
One of the Government's decisions, which became the subject of the day, is the additional 8.5m euros earmarked for pensioners.
The additional “8.5m euros were earmarked to ensure that no pension remains below 100 euros”, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has indicated.
Some journalists and political analysts criticised the Kurti Government for making a decision to reduce pension extensions for 20 euros compared to the last three months.
Klan Kosova has contacted Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu to question the issue, but the same has said there will soon be an official explanation on the part of the Ministry of Finance.
There will soon be an explanation for this”, Kryeziu said of the clancosova.tv.
He has refused to confirm or deny reporting, but has said that a detailed clarification is needed in order to have clear communication between Government and public opinion.
