Full response of the UPP reactor:
Pristina “University “hasan Pristina” reports that it has followed with concern the situation created as a result of a script published yesterday in its Facebook account by Mr. Ardian Kastrati, assistant professor at the USP Faculty of Philosophy.
Pristina University has welcomed the establishment of new institutions and hopes in stabilising political circumstances in the country. But in the situation created by the aforementioned case, The UPP announces the opinion that, as the largest institution of higher education in the country, it requires its staff, that regardless of the institution where they are engaged, with their behaviors, attitudes and statements, they retain the image of the UP.
Under these circumstances, The UP's distanced from Professor Kastrati's individual statement and strongly condemns the deignive language used.
In the series of its statuteic responsibilities, the UPP, in the coming days, will address the case in question, even with the laws in force”.
Otherwise, a protest was held earlier before the reactor for the dismissal of Ardian Kastrat because of the language used against a pregnant woman.
There have also been two online petitions demanding his dismissal from the UP.
For the language used by him has not yet been declared PDK, nor did Kastrati himself, the latter has since cleared the post.
