The task of the chairmanship of the Vetevendosje Parliamentary Group, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, has said the government's plan Kurti 2 will be presented soon.
She, in Info Magazine of Kosovo, has assured that this plan will be in line with promises this party has made during the election campaign.
The prime minister's responsibility and competence to present the plan, until we have the opportunity to discuss when the programme comes to the Assembly. Of course, under the promises and what the campaign and government programme of the Vetevendosje Movement have maintained, the same will be presented, but in line with the Stabilisation and Association Agreement. The assessment of the programme's points and criteria is already under what this agreement envisions. The second is assessment within budgetary borders and third in compliance with the programme that was presented in the” campaign.
There are three standards that need to match and this is the actual process of what is happening to the program that has already been compiled. All that were envisioned in the governing programme during the elections will be presented at the government's 2” governing programme.
The Kosovo government has warned reciprocity measures for each state, but will reciprocity measures again be in proportion to Serbia?
“As a principle, reciprocity is a principle which must be applied and not in relation to Serbia alone, but with any state that we may have problems in business reports. Kosovo has had no problems only with Serbia, because it knows from experience that Kosovo has had business problems with Slovenia, Northern Macedonia, Albania and, of course, Serbia. In this situation I believe that it gradually begins with adopting the reciprocity principle as the principle of Kosovo's sovereignty and citizenship and then in compliance with the dialogue process, the assessments that take place within and the assessments of the agreements reached to bring the” decision.
If reciprocity measures are imposed against Serbia, will it be acceptable to the international community?
There must be definite connections. If reciprocity is established, then it should be shown how long it lasts in relation to what goal to achieve and what obstacle the other side must eliminate in order to remove. That's why reciprocity works. What you do to me is prevents me from doing it to you until you remove the obstacle, but we don't start obstacles first. Kosovo has been a state that has consistently been very tolerant until we have begun to impose reciprocity measures, we have seen that it has had a different approach”.
“If the reciprocity measure is decided afterwards, it should be seen Serbia's behaviour for reasons that we are not subject to international pressure. The tax disaster was that it had put Kosovo in a situation where all the pressure of the international community and strategic allies, including the United States, was above us and it was not about what Serbia had done or did in relation to the agreements. This was because it was not articulating when and in what form the tax could be removed. It was said it was removed when Serbia recognises Kosovo, which was meant to be reached only with a final” agreement.
