Invited to show “Z THE 2021 event in V+”, Rama said that the map was seen before after it had been shown to Slovenian counterpart Janez Jansa.
I talked about it a long time ago. I've seen this document come out. I have no comment,”- said Rama.
But what happened?
How did the idea of changing borders in the Balkans return?
On Thursday the Slovenian portal “Necenszurirano. Like” published a document claiming to be a copy of the document. According to that document, redefinition of the Kosovo and Serbian border is proposed, joining Kosovo with Albania, uniting the majority Albanian parts of Montenegro and Northern Macedonia with Albania, the possibility of Republika Srpska's secession from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as uniting a part of western Bosnia with Croatia.
In the European Union, they said several times they have no knowledge of such a document. Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansha, whose country will head the European Union in the second half of this year, wrote that claims on such a document are actions aimed at undermining Slovenia in the EU”. “Slovenia is seriously seeking solutions for the development of the region and the European future for the countries of the Western Balkans, while such writings are trying to undermine that goal”, he wrote on social networks, but debate continues.
Meanwhile, Albanian Prime Minister claims the map exists
