The suspect has been detained under suspicion that he committed criminal work “Organising pyramid schemes and illegal gambling”.
The Founding Procurory in Gjilan, the General Department, has detained the defendant V.B., due to suspicion that he has committed the criminal work ʹorganisation of illegal pyramid schemes and gambling, of the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo”, the prosecution's announcement said.
The suspect is in detention for 48 hours, meanwhile, his detention measures will be requested.
The defendant V.B., allegedly during 2020, has illegally held the event of fortune-games at the casino called BARAmiralão, in the village of Karacheva, the municipality of Kamenica. The same with the prosecutor's decision in the case is under ban for 48 hours, and within the legal deadline security measures will be required by the competent court in Gjilan”, the statement said.
