Prime Minister Boris Johnson congratulates Kurti: Dedicated to normalisation with Serbia

In the letter of congratulations, Prime Minister Johnson highly values the close historical friendship between Kosovo and the United Kingdom. He reiterates the United Kingdom's commitment to Kosovo's integration into the international community and the normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
Following the letter, Prime Minister Johnson expresses the will to work together with Prime Minister Kurti to help ensure stability and prosperity for Kosovo and the region. He emphasises that he welcomes and supports priorities set by the government for empowering rule of law, fighting corruption and fighting COVID-19 pandemic.
In closing the hunger, the prime minister of the United Kingdom hopes that the historic outcome from the February 14th elections will provide new opportunities for Kosovo for progress in dialogue with Serbia. He risks that the UK will continue to provide technical assistance to support Prime Minister Kurti in the ambitious reform programme.
