Presevo Mayor: Shaip Kamberi co-operated with Serbia

Presevo Mayor Albania Arifi has reacted after the director's dismissal in Presevo, Driton Salihu.

According to him, MP Shaip Kamberi and Serbia's own state have co-operated in the dismissal of the Health House Director.

With an arbitrary act today, the director of the Health House “Preseva” in Presevo, Dr. Driton Salihu, from the Health Minister of the Republic of Serbia. This is a political cigar decision, since even more burly, as in the state of emergency with global pandemic, political games are made in the dismissal of directors of local health institutions, and that is according to the ministry's decision with a foreign government.

Dr. Driton Salihu has been appointed director of the Health House from the Municipal Assembly in Presevo, the only one in the whole Republic of Serbia as the head of the health institution with the Albanian Community in April 2018, while a few years later, the powers of the director's appointment have been carried to the Ministry of Health in Belgrade, with local power further dimmed in the self-admination of the yearly spheres in our country.

Dr. Dritton Salihu led the Health House during the 19 global Pandemia 19 as one of the TOP 5 municipalities across R's territory. Serbia's for measures against COVIE 19, specifically the organization of the population immunization process in the Presevo municipality.

At the same time, Dr. Salihu is the beneficiary of the most expensive financial project in the complete renovation of the Presevo Health House facilities, a project that has not been tendered by the Serbian government, even though all preliminary procedures have been passed since 2017.

International means emergency renovation, implementation of the House Assistance Programme in cooperation with the Presevo Community for the employment of medical staff, expansion and promotion of medical services in the Presevo municipality settlements, renovation of ambulance management in our municipality settlements, reconstruction of central heating system into an ecological system, providing automages as donations from European countries, establishing the working management system for medical staff, securing of permanent jobs in the long term for the size of considerable workers, rooting out of corruption, and placing automunicables in health order from Europe, Dr. Driton Salihu, who is gratified without ARSYE.

In pandemic time, the Ministry of Health instead of assisting the House of Health in Presevo with various donations, both infrastructural terms, equipment or medicine, or with the approval of Principal Driton Salihu's necessary request for the construction of regional hospital for the Presevo Valley, the ministry instead dismissed the director of the health house and that for no reason.

With this arbitrary act, the Ministry of Health is simply exercising its competencies, without any criteria, and in this case, especially when it is dismissed by an Albanian national director who belongs to most of the Albanian population in our municipality, appointing for task détat of Serbian nationalism, for which we ask the Ministry of Health for official explanation for the act undertaken to the until-day director of the House of Health in Presevo, Dr. Dritton Salihu.

Significantly, Party of Democratic Action The PVD, namely its leader and the Albanian MP in Serbia's Shaip Kamberi Parliament, was on the first front that has co-operated politically and organised successive plots in the dismissal of the director in question, and that is fact since his work has been sabotaged since the first day.

The close co-operation that Shaip Kamberi has had for 20 years at the local level in Bujanoc with the subject of Milosevic's successor- The SPS, it has now functional both as MPs and at the central level. Not even anonymous letters to central institutions in Belgrade have been missing to achieve their local political goals in the Presevo municipality. Also (bad) are used by various mechanisms of central institutions, as a mass to mark political scores, especially in the Presevo municipality, and to lose fingerprints that point finger at PVD, has been named as new director now Dr. Boban Spasack is a task leader.

How much this is true is clearly seen from the failure of the main figures in this subject of Shaip Kamberi, nor from the Albanian National Council that is under the leadership of this party. On the contrary, known and baseless accusations of an opinion of current local government under our leadership and of the profit atmosphere for activists of this sect function.

For this thing, we as a local government have only informed the international factor operating in Serbia, of the open discrimination being made to us as the minority population, from which we will seek and receive their assistance in accessing our guaranteed rights and international conventions and withdrawing this arbitrary decision.

I take the opportunity to thank Dr. Driton Salih, my close associate and associate for hard work, especially during the global pandemic, for professionalism, efficiency and its dedication to the public health of the Presevo municipality and the non-stop process of change.
