According to police reports, only persons or officials who possess confidential information have been questioned under the order of the Prosecutor.

Police Communications:

Kosovo police, after accepting information that confidential information had been published in the written media, have, according to authorisations, taken legal action towards the competent Prosecution's announcement.

Following this action under the prosecution's command, other actions have been undertaken in full compliance with the legislation in force and the rights and guarantees stemming from them. Police, in this case police officials have not questioned and have not put under investigation any citizens who exercise the journalist's profession, according to the prosecutor's order in question only persons or officials who possess confidential information.

While media representatives who have published the information have only been invited for information according to the prosecutor's instructions.

It is noteworthy that Kosovo police have taken all actions to convert legal authorisations, and it is very clear that the authorisations given to the law by which it functions, but also the rights and guarantees stemming from the law to protect the sources of journalism.

It's also important to protect public interest, damaged with the flow of confidential information, so the police's actions of reporting the Prosecutor's Office concern those responsible for the flow of confidential information rather than their publication.
